What is Quarella Marble?
The Quarella stone composite range is
composed of natural marble granulate and powder combined with a
highly specialised polyester resin. The resulting product has physical
properties similar to those of marble, but has a number of properties
and characteristics which surpass natural marble in its inert state:

is less porous and therefore absorbs less water

Not withstanding the above, the Quarella
Marble range is able to be used for kitchen bench tops and high
traffic areas if a maintenance program and/or procedures are strictly
adhered to. It is recommended that in these instances, the stone
is supplied honed and a liquid wax sealer is applied and maintained
during the life of the stonework.
